The MobilHybrid

The MobilHybrid is an innovative storage system that is connected between the electricity generator and the electricity consumer. The MobilHybrid stores the electricity from the power generator and releases it to the consumers in exactly the right amount as needed, without wasting electricity.

The MobilHybrid was developed precisely for these applications. With its innovative technology, it ensures that the power generator can be switched off when the load of the power consumers is small, i.e. smaller than the nominal power of the MobilHybrid used. If the energy in the storage tank runs out or the power of the load rises above the power of the MobilHybrid, the MobilHybrid automatically switches on the power generator. If the energy of the power generator is not sufficient for the load, the MobilHybrid switches on safely and the two power sources are added together by the power boost function.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The MobilHybrid selects the most favourable of several energy sources (hybrid) for the current load condition. This can be the integrated battery storage, a diesel generator, photovoltaic modules or a possibly existing grid.

WHY CAN YOU SAVE A LOT OF MONEY IN THE PROCESS?

The diesel generator is only started when the MobilHybrid needs to be recharged or large loads are to be operated. This significantly avoids fuel and maintenance costs for the diesel generator and extends its service life.

WHAT DOES THE ENVIRONMENT GET OUT OF IT?

WHAT MAKES THE HYBRID MOBILE?

MobilHybrid is built on a very robust steel carrying frame the size of a Euro pallet. Easy handling is possible with a forklift, an ant or with lifting gear on the ring eye in the centre of the lid; the units can even be pulled over terrain as a sledge. The Euro pallet dimensions make logistics much easier over longer distances. The very compact and robust housing with IP54 protection is suitable for outdoor installation. The equipment in accordance with the regulations of the employers' liability insurance association allows unlimited use without earthing measures, with many consumers and without being an electrician. The non-hazardous lead-acid batteries used are suitable for transport without restriction; they even have air transport approval. This would not be possible with lithium-ion batteries.

HOW LONG DO THE BATTERIES LAST? DO THEY TAKE THE BATTERIES BACK?

The batteries are designed for a service life of 1200 cycles. At one cycle per day, this corresponds to a service life of approx. 5 years. A residual capacity of 80% is defined as the end of the service life. The battery set can be replaced cost-effectively in a short time. Of course, we take back the old battery sets.

WHAT ABOUT THE WARRANTY?

We give a 2-year guarantee on the MobilHybrid unit, except for the battery set.
