The MobilHybrid is an innovative storage system that is connected between the electricity generator and the electricity consumer. The MobilHybrid stores the electricity from the power generator and delivers it to consumers in exactly the right quantity as required, without wasting electricity.
It is precisely for these applications that the MobilHybrid was developed. With its innovative technology, it ensures that the power generator can be switched off when the load of the power consumers is low, i.e. less than the rated output of the power generator used. MobilHybrid. If the energy in the storage unit runs out or the power of the load exceeds the power of the MobilHybrids switches the MobilHybrid switches the power generator on automatically. If the energy from the power generator is not sufficient for the load, the MobilHybrid and the two power sources are added together by the power boost function.
The MobilHybrid selects the most favourable of several energy sources (hybrid) for the current load status. This can be the integrated battery storage system, a diesel generator, photovoltaic modules or even an existing grid.
The diesel generator is only started when the MobilHybrid has to be recharged or large loads are to be operated. This significantly reduces fuel and maintenance costs for the diesel unit and extends its service life.
MobilHybrid is built on a very robust steel carrier frame the size of a Euro pallet. Easy handling is possible with a forklift, ant or by lifting gear on the ring eye in the centre of the lid, and the units can even be pulled over terrain as a sled. The Euro pallet dimensions make logistics much easier over long distances. The very compact and robust housing is suitable for outdoor installation with protection class IP54. The equipment complies with trade association regulations and enables unrestricted use without earthing measures, with many consumers and without the need for a qualified electrician. The non-hazardous lead-acid batteries used are suitable for transport without restriction and even have an air transport licence. This would not be possible with lithium-ion batteries.
The batteries are designed for a service life of 1200 cycles. At one cycle per day, this corresponds to a service life of approx. 5 years. A residual capacity of 80% is defined as the end of the service life. The battery set can be replaced cost-effectively in a short time. Of course, we take back the old battery sets.
On the MobilHybrid device, with the exception of the battery pack, comes with a 2-year guarantee.
